At the recent Microsoft De:code 2015 event, SQUARE ENIX announced that FINAL FANTASY AGITO will be coming to Windows 10 later this year in Japan. Windows 10 launches this summer, with Windows 7 and 8 users receiving a free upgrade during the first year of release. It is excepted that AGITO will be released at some point this fall.
FINAL FANTASY AGITO is currently a Free-2-Play mobile title available only on iOS and Android devices in Japan. An extension, FINAL FANTASY AGITO+ is also slated for free release on the PlayStation Vita as a download. AGITO is set in the same universe as FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD, featuring many of the same characters yet set during a different spiral in time.
At E3 2014, SQUARE ENIX did announce plans to release FINAL FANTASY AGITO in Western territories, they’ve been relatively quiet on the subject since. However, SQUARE ENIX are holding their own E3 Press Conference this year, so more details may arise there.
